MONDAY MEDITATION - TOP 5 BOOKS THAT CHANGED MY LIFE

Top 5 books that changed my life

Hello beautiful goddess.

Do you love the smell and feel of a new book? Or enjoy stealing precious moments away from the world, with your nose buried in a good story or inspirational guidance? Or perhaps you're on the hunt for that next title and this post comes to you at just the right time?

Below are my Top 5 books for nourishment, growth and spirituality (links included in the titles for easy access).

1. The Red Tent - Anita Diamant

This is my favourite book of all time - big declaration, I realise. Inspired by the story of 4 sisters in ancient Mesopotamia and their sharing of food, stories and sisterhood in the red tent during their moon time, I decided to start my Women's Circle. It is an intense and heartfelt novel about the journey of womanhood, family and love. Cannot recommend this novel highly enough to you, beautiful goddess.

 2. A New Earth - Eckhart Tolle

It is important to not only examine yourself throughout life, but also your part in the global community. Eckhart delves into the themes of ego, inner space and freedom, and how you can create a better life when you interact with others through consciousness and awareness.

3. Witch: A Personal Journey - Fiona Horne

I have a really soft spot in my heart for this one. As a 15 year old girl wanting to explore and understand the Divine Feminine, but attending a conservative Catholic girl's school, this was a Goddess send for me! A fellow Australian, and having met her in person for deep discussion, I can tell you first hand that Fiona's honesty and practical wisdom is deeply refreshing.

4. The Mastery of Love - Don Miguel Ruiz

You may have come across Don with his previous book, "The Four Agreements". I just can't go past this one. It was a game changer for me in terms of relationships. His grandfather was a Shaman in Mexico, and that deep heritage richly touches every page with grounded insight. This book will challenge the way you think, and how you interact with your present or future significant other.

5. Women Who Run with the Wolves - Clarissa Pinkola Estes

Although I am only just 3/4's of the way through this, it has been such a stimulating read, I just had to share it with you! Clarissa is a Psychoanalyst and scholar, with deeply spiritual roots. Through well known myths and stories, and the nature of the she wolf, she explores the female psyche in depth. Her challenge is for us to gain a true sense of our inner Wild Woman and embrace her unconditionally.

I really hope these books are of service to you in some way, my loves. Share this page with your friends, or make sure to bookmark it for the next time you're seeking inspiration for something to read.

Over to you now - do you have any books that you would like to recommend, that have perhaps changed your life? Please share them in the comments below. You never know, a book you share may change another goddess' life forever...
